I had the incredible joy of spending time with my boyfriend and his family near the Tennessee River for the Fourth of July holiday. Here are a few glimpses of the view.
Just snapped this after my alarm went off. Testing out my new telephoto lens was very cold and very groggy, but I don’t mind the result at all!
I’m feeling pretty crummy and was (praise) mercifully allowed to leave work early. Trelawney (“Lucky” to my neighbor) greeted me when I came home, clearly aware with her catty senses that I wasn’t well.
I grabbed my camera and snapped these while the sun was still up.
I had a little bit of time to notice the gorgeous creation that surrounded me, as well as the amazing resort that a very kind donor arranged for us as we needed a place to stay between shooting days. Here are a few memories…
We had a gorgeous shoot on behalf of Ratio Christi, a Christian apologetics ministry, and my sister, Anna Kitko, who is the new chapter director at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Here’s a great shot of her beautiful face. I’ll be working on the edits as the week progresses.
Here are some more lovely images from the hike on Sunday. I spent a good deal of time with my shoes off, tromping around in the icy water.
Here is one of my favorite images from the hike this afternoon. It was a comfy 65 degrees and very sunny out in the Smoky Mountain National Park. When we got to the waterfall, we were the only ones who went off-trail and dipped our feet into the icy waters.
I’ll edit and upload many more, but so far this one is the one I’ll really cherish. Water spray was hitting my face and about ten zebra butterflies were dancing around off to my right near a tiny cave in the cliff face.
It was magical.
Now taking reservations for winter head shots. For lack of models, I just used myself for a quick little project…
Give me a call for arrangements! I’ll post my first few clients on the site.
