I had the incredible joy of spending time with my boyfriend and his family near the Tennessee River for the Fourth of July holiday. Here are a few glimpses of the view.
My boyfriend and I drove out to a nearby waterfall, very close to home, and found that lack of rain in recent weeks allowed us to hike all the way up to the source waters and then down to the Duck River, where they emptied out (more like dried out–there were jut rocks at the bottom).
I was amazed by how very green it was. I kept the raw color in the images as they had been captured so that you can see what it was like while we were there.
Here are some more lovely images from the hike on Sunday. I spent a good deal of time with my shoes off, tromping around in the icy water.
Still en route to work in concept and design areas, here’s the next architectural endeavor I’ve been working on. It’s not finished yet, so we’ll see where it goes.
Very interesting study in glass and water reflection.
This morning we held our annual sunrise service, led by Strider (Aragorn? Still haven’t asked him because I’m a new member…) and it was a bit overcast but the joy was just overwhelming. Here are a few shots from this morning. Early this morning. 6am early. Before morning…
I’m really tired.
HE IS RISEN!!!
