Movies and God

We had a gorgeous shoot on behalf of Ratio Christi, a Christian apologetics ministry, and my sister, Anna Kitko, who is the new chapter director at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Here’s a great shot of her beautiful face. I’ll be working on the edits as the week progresses.

Pilgrim’s Progress…

I’m delighted to have found a real focus for the company, which has moved away from marketing and commercial work, and headed toward education and ministry.

Yes, I am a Christian, and I fully intend to use this company for Christ in one way or another. My excitement has no bounds as I write and design workshops for students who don’t normally have the opportunity to learn filmmaking.

Now, this move toward open profession of faith will NOT make me terribly popular in the secular world. Tough cookies. It’s happening.

Brouhaha Film Festival

I just returned from the Brouhaha 2015 festival. Great fun. Very exciting stuff. I had a moment of panic when “Nightfall” began playing (closing out the festival no less…) with NO audio track so I had to race out to the concession stand to have them restart it.

In order to recover from that trauma I went to the Magic Kingdom, being rather close by, and enjoyed some ice cream with my mum and gaffer.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Promotional image
